High Efficiency Valve Gearbox
Efficiency gains are achieved through multi-start, while using the latest Gearbox Backstop patent to allow the gearbox to be locked.
The overall efficiency of the gearbox is increased by 200% to 300% while optimising costs.
Conventional worgears need to take into account the self-locking characteristics and must maintain an inherent machining angle. STARD AUTOMATION utilizes a patented locking device called Backstop to make high efficiency wormgears self-locking.
Electric applications can be optimised with STARD high efficiency worm gears for faster shutdown times. Manual applications can also be optimised for fewer operating turns, larger manually operated valve pass diameters and lower installation and maintenance costs.

SB Bevel Electric Gear Operator Gearbox
SB series multi-turn gear operators
This gear operator series is made of cast steel and the optional material is HT. Bronze, D2 and QT nuts are available to fit in with the valve stem. This series is suitable for use on linear-motion valves including gate valves and globe valves, with the single-stage speed ratio varying from 2.3:1 to 8:1 and the torque from 216NM to 6800NM.
Products can be used for gate valve, stop valve and other linear movement of the valve, widely used in chemical, food and beverage, metallurgy, offshore platform, pharmaceutical, energy, oil and gas, paper and textile, fire, water conservancy and other industries.

Underground Pipe Valve Gearbox
This series consists of 6 models varying from 182:1 to 780:1 in terms of gear ratio and from 1500NM to 15000NM in terms of torque.
The input stage can be adjusted by 90° and can be operated with a choice of handwheel or T-stem, usually used for valves in underground pipeline networks (e.g. butterfly valves, ball valves, etc.)

Compared to the previous generation of SLJ products, the top bracket has been raised to make installation easier, while a lightweight design has been implemented to achieve cost optimisation.
